2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrankly I can say this in a heartbeat that I’m not at all surprised that there are people who move and how understaffed this school is I remember in 9th grade I felt unsafe in band and the band director was so hostile that I was glad I left Band I also am saying this as I can say 10th grade was ok but much better and 11th grade was calmer and so was 12th grade but the main problem is also staff have been under appreciated and some can be vile to students and students can be vile as well and I’m saying this as I feel like it’s a shame that the good teachers leaving who I became friends with left due to unsafe behavior and the idea of a strictness for say attendance is not a good look for anyone at all I’m honestly just saying that I would recommend being strict about safety of others students and staff alikeOther Review5mo ago15 Reviews - Dailey Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHere’s the revised review in a cohesive format:I attended Dailey Middle School for a long time, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking to avoid fights or drama. While the school provides opportunities for learning, not many students seem to enjoy it. Most of the teachers are nice and genuinely want to help students succeed, though some can be strict or come across as mean. The school does offer social-emotional support, but the constant drama can make it hard to feel fully supported. They also provide programs for Special Education students, but unfortunately, bullying still happens, which shouldn’t be normalized even in a middle school environment. When it comes to safety, the staff does their best to stop fights, but the overall atmosphere feels a bit rough and chaotic.Overall, my experience at Dailey Middle School wasn’t great, but others might feel differently.Other Review1y ago9 Reviews - Joseph Gilbert Elementary School

"Nothing unique about Manor, it’s like any other place. New places being such as grocery stores, restaurants, and other businesses."

"My commute isn’t too bad because I work close but it can be a headache for those who have to go into Austin regularly. Traffic on the main road in and out of Manor is pretty bad during peak times."

"I’ve lived here for about 10 years. Many neighbors have come and gone throughout the years. I’ve always felt safe and comfortable here. "

"Dogs without leash. Repeated lost dogs. Poop in yard. Presidential is awful and HOA doesn’t keep it up to date or make it nicer. "

"There are craft fairs, city events, American Legion events all within 2 miles. We have lived here two decades and watched it grow from a tiny farm town to the place everyone is moving to. "

"Manor may not have lot of shopping, malls or fancy eating places, but you breathe lot easy here. No pollution, noise, honking cars or traffic jams. Lot of new residential contraction is coming up here and is perfect place to raise the kids and family. People pay three times to live in broken houses built in 50s in Austin when you can get newly built house here in Manor."

"Many families here, school system is now great. Lots of home decor for holidays which is very entertaining. Tennis courts available close to the middle school all year long, same thing for soccer fields or basketball courts. The city is also very diverse and is starting to have more and more businesses opening. "

"It is a nice quiet neighborhood and much better than most neighborhoods I've lived in since moving to Austin. People are friendly but respectful of your privacy. There are lots of family, kids, and BBQ events here. People are also very helpful when you need it! "

"You will always see people walking their dogs in the neighborhood and animals are definitely welcomed. Also the neighborhood comes together if you ever lose your animal"

"Nice and neighborly! Everyone looks out for one another and it’s really quiet in my neighborhood. I never worry about anything because my neighbors have my back."

"Traffic is really bad here but I believe the mayor is working to make it better sometimes it takes 30 minutes to get out of this Siri it’s because he’s growing so fast and has not expanded the roads to be able to support the growing community"

"There isn't much to do in the Manor area. Any fine dining, or entertainment will have to be found closer to Austin. The city is rapidly growing, so traffic, and crime is on the rise. Manor is a relatively quiet, and safe place to live. "

"Just need to be careful and prepared. Lots of pit bulls. On my first walk in the neighborhood with my dog had a pit come after me. Luckily I had defense and the owner came and grabbed it. "

"I think this neighborhood is really awkward to get to. it's literally like right outside the city, but the access to actually get in here is so chopped up and backwards it takes forever regardless of traffic"
