6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is disproportionately minority students and caters to kids who are not white and straight. I constantly get messages about equity and inclusion and how I should support it but nothing ever about how to protect all student from the weekly fights that take place between non-white students. The Spanish teacher (chair of the Spanish Dept.) has an LGBTQ flag in her classroom that she took down for back to school night when parents were going to be at the school. The next day, she put it back up. Strange. Seems she’s hiding something. Patents are not made to feel welcome and are questioned at the entrance upon showing ID. I’m surprised they’re not frisked, which is what should be done with most of the students. They also got rid of school security for the 2022-23 school year and fights broke out weekly, if not more, between non-white students. Our child won’t be returning.Parent Review2y ago29 Reviews - Daniel Webster Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school and structure, the teachers does not teach, the staff does not provide emotional support and safety every day there is a fight. staff only concerned with making money off the parents every week they are selling snacks and expect 6th and 7th grade to find 8th grade activities it’s ridiculous. on the first orientation meeting the signs were there webster wasn’t a great school the principal ms bell walks around like she’s confident she is handling the school but she’s not she then presented a power point that never worked, said goodbye as if she was leaving the auditorium then proceeded to stay. she looks nervous and unsure about her job. the teachers aren’t teaching!!! they wanted the parents to pay for p e clothes but the kids never changed clothes and participated in pe they claim they didn’t have enough staff to execute this. my child came home every day with a new story: kids vaping, kids being sexually inappropriate, and how kids brings weapons to webster. even was advised someone was stabbed last year. during orientation i asked why the school has no cameras i didn’t receive an answer. eventually i pulled my child out after all these instancesParent Review2mo ago21 Reviews - Westwood Charter Elementary School

Parents are encouraged to be actively involved in all aspects of school life, from classroom volunteering and organizing events to participating in decision-making. This high level of involvement fosters a strong partnership between teachers, staff, and families, creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive.Another hallmark of Westwood Charter is its remarkable fundraising participation. "Area consists of young professionals and students. Landlords in the area engage in minimal infrastructure maintenance but like to keep the hedges clean. Bad area for bike riding / public transportation. "
