5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery disappointed in this school. The office staff cares more about numbers than human beings, kindness or understanding. There was violence almost daily on the bus and they hotline parents without substantiated information. A gun was found just recently on a middle school student. I am more than disappointed in this school and do not recommend it to anyone …Parent Review2mo ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 3001 Cypress Lake Rd #5-8353.

"Kids should be careful playing in the road drivers tend to speed. Wish we had a farmers market nearby closest one is in Summerville "

"I ride my bike 4 miles to work. With the new addition of the low line, this will be a breeze! Was also just recently checking out the local transit options and the bus line is right down the street from me!"

"There is a dog park. But it isn’t well maintained. If you contact the front office and remind them then they will clean it up but if you don’t email them then it’ll never get done. "

"Nope! You have to walk over four blocks away for public bus. The bus is close to Rivers Ave and on Greenridge there are a lot of shooting so walking to the bus stop may not be good idea. Lots of people walk around the neighborhood but it’s just not safe around here anymore. I always drive because of all the foot traffic of transit people who randomly move here. I’ll be happy once we move away from this area. "

"It’s a busy place so I wouldn’t leave any child unsupervised if at all possible. People are very friendly and probably helpful but it’s a busy place, like foot traffic, so leaving a child unaccompanied is probably not advisable. "

"Wish the area had better school options and ratings. I live in this area because it’s inexpensive, definitely not my top choice. It’s okay, no mishaps so far. If I could afford to live somewhere else, I would. "

"North Charleston is an older urban area. Some areas feel safe, but others feel very unsafe. However, there are lots of things to do around here for couples and kids. Traffic isn’t bad around here, but drivers are very aggressive."

"The school don’t rank very well. We have many new businesses and because of that, our traffic issue are getting as bad as California’s. We need mass transit to help with the traffic problems."

"This is a wonderfully walkable neighborhood with plenty to do and see. Our house is in an old established neighborhood just two blocks from restaurants, yoga studios, shops, wine bars and craft breweries, fitness clubs, parks, farmers Market, Riverfront park - the list goes on. The City sponsors frequent events, and the area is one of the most desirable in the area. No need to go to downtown Charleston - although it is a short commute to go downtown or to any of the beaches or plantations."

"As a dog owner, I think people would like the sidewalks and freedom to walk their dogs safely. There are a couple places that don’t have the sidewalks and it can be quite frustrating, so that’s a downside. "
