6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school mistakes punishment for discipline and control for care.I watched capable students deteriorate after being mislabeled, publicly searched, embarrassed, and blamed instead of supported. I entered as a high-performing student and left feeling broken, unheard, and mistrusted. Seeking help only resulted in increased scrutiny and harsher treatment.Staff are overwhelmed and unprepared, and it shows. Rather than de-escalation or understanding, students are met with passive aggression, gossip, and selective enforcement of rules. The result is an environment that retraumatizes students while pretending to rehabilitate them. This school does not fix problems it creates them.Other Review5mo ago24 Reviews - Greenland Pines Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnless you have money to constantly donate to the school your kids will be treated like crap. We are a low income family that struggles and my kids get blamed for EVERYTHING without ANY proof and anytime I report bullying nothing ever gets done and I never hear back there is a Tik Tok video of my daughter sobbing and being bullied on the bus the kid uploaded and nothing got done my daughter was told horrible sexual things by students nothing ever got done I heard nothing. If you have money your kids are secure if your struggling like us they'll make your kids the scapegoat for everythingParent Review7mo ago22 Reviews - Twin Lakes Academy Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGot bullied in 6th grade by a group of girls and they put me in the same room as them with the former assistant principal to make us "talk it out", thinking that'll work. Afterwards, The bullying escalated in many ways until 8th grade when I moved to another school. Never spoke up about it because I felt I'd be not taken seriously and invalidated, or how I've been treated didn't pass as 'real' bullying. My mental health became much worse since then, and no matter how much I think I've healed from this situation, I'll always feel like I'm a burden in my friendships or everyone is out to get and hurt me. This wasn't just 'drama' between teenage girls, it's a systematic failure by the people who were supposed to protect me. During my school days there, I've seen kids getting specifically targeted in classrooms and the teachers seem completely apathetic or act like nothing's happening, leaving the victim to fend for themselves in an environment that's supposed to make them feel welcome.. I'm speaking up because I've seen a pattern. Not only was my situation handled ineffectively,, I've also noticed that neurodivergent students are being bullied while the teachers remain indifferent. A school cannot claim to be inclusive while it's most bullied students are being bullied without any intervention. For parents who want to enroll their children into this school, be aware that their 'conflict resolution' and bullying policy is ineffective and the staff's indifference towards bullying is a serious safety concern. Nobody should feel like they're a burden or easy target. Nobody should feel the way I did.Other Review1mo ago32 Reviews - Check out schools near 5663 Greenland Rd #602.

"literally right next to 9A, 295 & 95, but owning a car or using Uber/Lyft is essential as the nearest bus line is at least 3 miles away. Early morning traffic can be slowed by the Elementary & High School on the road, but it's still not bad. great community. "

"This is a quiet area with relatively friendly neighbors. In my experience people keep to themselves but will smile and wave. A car is definitely needed. This is a very pet friendly area, at least where there are sidewalks (which is in most places). "

"We have lived in this S/D since 2010 and love it. Our kids have plenty of friends to run around our street to play with, kind of like we did as kids in the 70's. It's nice to be able to give them a bit of freedom, instead of keeping the kids in to play video games with no excersize. They are out there to play ball, ride bikes, ride skate boards! We love Greenland Pines Elementary and their teachers. The location is convenient to everything. We are between San Jose and Phillips hwy.. can't get any sweeter than that. The Pool is sufficient and there is a play ground for the younger children. Bus stops thru-out the S/D for the older kids. Mandarin is the place for a growing - young family to live. ABB"
