This is my second year with 2 students at this school. It’s just okay. Very bare bones on academics and activities, plus a lot of kids that are under grade level that hold the rest of the kids back in the classroom. I do think they are doing their best, but it’s just not a great school if you have a high academic achiever or would like a decent chance for your child to really excel. I also do not find the administration to be friendly or helpful; the few times I’ve had to interact with the VP and Principal have been overall negative experiences. We will be switching to a charter school in the area and I do not recommend this school if you have another option available.

I pulled my kids from the charter school experience to place them in public school. I only chose Glades Middle due to it's Cambridge Program, tenure of the staff, and high test scores. I made the right decision. My child is over achieving way higher than she did in Charter School. The program is exactly what she needed to challenge her. The teachers there care about the students and surprisingly, it's almost like a family enviornment which shocks me for a public school. Many parents have picked school choice to send their child here and me sending my kids here was a wonderful choice. I highly recommend it.

The classes were good. The school has improved with a new principal, Mr. Curran. My counselor, Ms. Powell, was very helpful and attentive. As long as you don't do your assignments late, your work WILL be graded. Some teachers are good and bad personally. The extracurricular activities are great. The JROTC program personally was the best class ever. Don't mingle with the wrong students. I've never experienced bullying or seen it before.
