9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLakewood is an elementary school with a record of outstanding achievement and parent involvement. Its teachers are highly dedicated to doing the best for their students. They communicate concerns and accomplishments. Lakewood is a safe place for kids both physically and emotionally. Teachers work to create a caring culture. Because Lakewood is blessed with many students with special needs, stidents learn to be patient, respectful, and caring to people with diverse needs. I send my own children to Lakewood because of the friendly culture and focus on high academic achievement. I also know that if my child needs remediation teachers will address his needs and keep me informed. If you're looking for a school with amazing educators, a close community of support, and friendly students, call Lakewood Elementary!Parent Review10y ago4 Reviews - West Ottawa High School Campus

"there are many family friendly spaces but still should be aware of surroundings and especially when visiting Lake Michigan, waters can become very unsafe, make sure kids understand water safety, learn to swim and use proper safety equipment on boats, etc"
