3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I couldn’t be more pleased with Hiram High School. From the moment my child started attending, I was impressed by the dedication of the teachers and staff who genuinely care about student success. The academic programs are rigorous and well-structured, offering a range of AP and honors courses that truly challenge students while preparing them for higher education. My child has thrived in this environment, not only academically but also socially, thanks to the diverse extracurricular activities the school offers. Whether participating in sports, theater, or student leadership, they’ve been encouraged to pursue their interests and develop their skills. The school fosters a safe and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring that students feel supported and valued, which has been a major relief for me as a parent. I also appreciate the strong communication between the school and families—regular updates, parent-teacher meetings, and opportunities for involvement have allowed me to stay engaged in my child’s education. Seeing the confidence and enthusiasm my child has gained over the years reaffirms that Hiram High School is a fantastic place for students to grow academically and personally. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a school that prioritizes student success and well-being.Parent Review11mo ago16 Reviews - P B Ritch Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe worse experience of my life. Teachers don’t care, syllabus and canvas is in corrected no due dates you won’t know your child missed an assignment until you receive a failing grade report. My child started there in January I picked him up from school it was Aweful. The hall monitor outside blowing a bull horn for the kids to go find there parents in the pick up line. Huge turn off my child is not an animal. Teachers have nasty attitudes and you wonder why the students behave how they do.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 386 Hill Crest Cir #94.

"Depends on whether your going to work or shopping and what time of day it is. The work commute can be hairy so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there without taking unnecessary risks. Drive safely, you still have a lot of living to do! Hiram is what I call a “rural suburb” of Atlanta. So even though there are a lot of varied and extensive activities to enjoy in the surrounding area, it is a very short drive to many cultural and art exhibits, theatre productions and family entertainment parks like “Six Flags Over Georgia”. There is no lack of cultural, educational and yes “fun” opportunities in this area. So your commute to work could as long as 1 hour from Hiram to downtown Atlanta, or as short as 10 minutes if your lucky enough to work for the Wellstar Family Medical Practices or Facilities (for example). "The neighborhood is friendly. Some folks walk dogs, and some have their children with them. However, parents should accompany them on walks and to the parks at least until they have met a few people and learned the lay of the land. "

"Downtown Hiram has a Christmas tree lighting event every year that is fun for the whole family. Taylor Farm Park does movies in the park and has a fireworks show on New Years that is pretty great as well. Other than that- I don’t know of many community events."
