7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately, my experience with Arroyo has been extremely frustrating due to the complete lack of responsiveness from the principal, counseling team, and management staff. Repeated attempts to reach out for assistance—whether regarding academic concerns, student well-being, or administrative matters—have gone unanswered or been met with generic, unhelpful responses. The counseling department, which should be a key resource for students, is nearly impossible to get in touch with, leaving students and parents without guidance when it's needed most. The principal and administrative staff seem disengaged, showing little effort in addressing concerns or even acknowledging inquiries.A school should be a place where communication is prioritized, especially when it comes to student success and well-being. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. If you are considering this school, be prepared for frustration and a lack of support from leadership.I truly hope the administration takes these concerns seriously and implements changes to improve their responsiveness and commitment to their students and families.Parent Review1y ago14 Reviews - Colonial Acres Elementary School

"You should have a car.. It's kind of difficult to get somewhere if you're in a rush. Cherry land is close by downtown, the freeway to oakland, the freeway to the San Mateo Bridge.. It's close by everything you need. "

"Not for Parents this is for the City of Hayward that our streets are not lighting correctly and the side walks are not all that great . Some streets don’t have side walks specially on the noun incorporated areas we don’t have side walks or Ramps for Handy cups and people here in my street drive almost 100 miles on hour Car are Flying by . They need to instal speed bumps So they can slow down every like 100 feet. It’s Crazy how some people drive so fast and unsafe . Thank you that’s all "

"I’m conveniently situated between highways 880, 580, and the San Mateo Bridge. I’m also a 7-minute walk to the Hayward Bart station. I work in San Francisco, so it gives me many options to get to work in a timely manner."
