3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI taught here for a year and this school is a mess. The only students who are getting anything good out of this school are the ones in IB and their experience is totally different than that of the other students. The ESL and SPED programs are not bad, but not great either because of a lack of funding and a lack of people caring about these programs. This is not to say that no one cares, but not enough people do.Teacher Review11y ago6 Reviews - Union Colony Preparatory School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school from 1st–12th grade and graduated with a 3.8 GPA. While I made a few lifelong friends and had some good teachers, I would not recommend this school to parents. My parents deeply regret keeping me enrolled.Although the elementary school has reportedly improved in recent years, that progress gives a misleading impression of how the middle and high school operate. Opportunities are extremely limited: few clubs, weak sports programs (many students play for other schools), and the band program was recently eliminated.Despite branding itself as a “college prep” school, it does not adequately prepare students for college. There is little to no guidance on degree paths, transferable credits, or college resources. I graduated with random AIMS classes that have had no value toward my degree due to poor advising and inflexible policies. Graduation requirements also change frequently, creating unnecessary confusion. The school has a pattern of pushing out students who struggle or don’t “fit.” Test scores look strong largely because students who need support are not given proper resources and eventually leave. Students with disabilities are especially underserved, with accommodations ignored and staff inadequately trained.Middle school has long-standing bullying and behavior issues. Serious incidents, including sexual assault, were dismissed due to “lack of proof.” Today, behavior problems are significantly worse, and teachers lack the resources to manage them. In contrast, nearby public schools handle similar age groups far more effectively.Administrative culture is also concerning. While I respect the principal, broader administration and counseling staff routinely violated confidentiality. As a former office aide, I personally overheard inappropriate gossip about students, including racist remarks from staff.High teacher turnover, unqualified instructors in critical courses, and policies where a single paper can determine graduation after 12 years further highlight systemic failures.I am a good student in spite of this school, not because of it.Other Review3mo ago14 Reviews - Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering

"The upper side of Greeley has grown immensely over the last 10 years and the newer developments are the best places to live. New homes and slowly getting more and more amenities closer to residential homes."

"The only issue I really see with our community is people park in a disrespectful manner. For example, too close to the driveways. "

"We've lived here for 2 years and the neighborhood consists of mostly larger ranch style homes on larger lots, so it has a quiet open feel. "

"Several dogs in the neighborhood. All well behaved and always accompanied by a human. Mostly small-to-medium sized dogs. Most often humans are routinely walked by friendly dogs."

"Good neighborhood, some home owners are older and salty. The rest of us help each other out and share phone numbers and text. Most neighbors watch out for each other. "

"It’s a bunch of hard working people that have strong family bonds. People are thankful for what they have and take care of others around them. There are multiple outdoor activities available and plenty of space to have to yourself. "

"Dog owners would not like that People don’t pick up their dogs poop when taking them out and there are signs in people’s yards asking not to let dogs pee in the grass "

"As long as they pick up after their pets, I feel they would be fine in any neighborhood. There is alot of people with money her so that means that lawn care providers spray lawns and dont always place signs that lawns were just treated. There are a bunch of puppies so parco has been an issue. That what I've seen living here for 8 years plus."

"It’s a quiet neighborhood close to everything you need. Two grocery stores are within walking distance as well as many restaurants and a gym. It’s located by a school though I’ve been told it’s pretty rough there. Great location during the 4th of July. Can walk or drive right over to where they’re shooting off the fireworks. During the winter, it’s relatively quiet and not much neighborhood togetherness but people are typically pretty friendly. There is glass on the street. I suspect from drinking the night before. It’s safe, but I wouldn’t let kids play outside by themselves... "
