6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOffice staff will call you multiple times to come and pick your child up. You ask them , well is this going to count as a absent against my child. They tell you No. Which is not the truth. They do count it as a absent day. Trying to get parents into truency. The teachers don't watch the kids on the playground good. Then office calls and you have to rush your child to the hospital, to get surgery! The teachers write negative things about your kindergarden child , on there report card. Very sad!! As far as the principal he is good. The PE teacher he is the best I've ever seen!Parent Review6y ago3 Reviews - Franklin High

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageim a junior atm but im in the summer school we offer and its pretty good the teachers mostly care about your grades they dont really focus on one student all the time though its more thats one or 2 students that arent paying attention but i do enjoy going there its a good school in all honesty.Student Review5y ago3 Reviews - Macon Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLots of disrespectful teachers, principal and everyone is more worried about your phone dropping out of your pocket and what the girls are wearing then if you get a quality education. I honestly cannot say anything good about this school except for about 5 teachers out of a lot. Librarian tells kids to shut up and yelled at us every time we went to get books. Kids sells lots of vapes and some weird stuff went down in the bathrooms that I can’t put online. WAYYY too concerned about girls clothes…it’s one thing if you’re wearing booty shorts but you would wear shorts that cover everything, and you have to change. PE favorites are always who is the best at the sports they play for them, not who actually tries. Only the curvy girls get dress codes btw, if you’re flat apparently they don’t care. A lockdown while I was there, lots of fights, kids making threats and posting about guns, etc. Crappy school.Other Review1y ago6 Reviews - Macon Early College High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my experience having 3 kids now that have passed on through this school - It was the worst school my kids attended. My kids dreaded going. It was a chore to keep them positive and wanting to go and learn. Teachers let them do whatever they want. Never any homework My child was bullied non stop with no help of the principal to put an end to it. It was constant! Her grades were the worst at this school and she is a straight A student prior to attending here and most importantly she loved school before going to MVI. Personally most staff and faculty here make it seem they hate being a part of the team as well. Students are made to clean classrooms weekly for a full day. Dusting and wiping down cabinets. Receptionist is extremely rude and dull. Once my kids left MVI they began to thrive once again and be themselves. I was told they have no structure. If you don't have money you are nothing to the teachers and you are ahund and treated badly. The stats here that I have reviewed for where kids should be are absurdly low. Makes you wonder what's going on. If I had to go back I would definitely homeschool children during these 2 yrs to keep them from all the damage that happens here at this school. Would not ever recommend. And I know I'm not the only parent in this town that feels this way. Such a shame!!Parent Review1mo ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 17 Roller Mill Rd #RD&OLD-64.

"Most events held in Franklin NC are old-fashioned and geared towards the elderly age group. Up to date technology is not widely used and internet is rarely available here. There is very little to do in Franklin for the 18 - 45 year old age range, unless you like to hike. Easy trip to make a Asheville though for fun. "

"You would need to have your own vehicle or use Macon Transit to get around town. If you live in the boonies, you will def need a vehicle in order to get around town. If you live in the heart of town, you can walk to different destinations."
