9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m not sure how FHS ranks as high as it does. The focus is not on academics, and admin spends more time making TikToks and drinking coffee than caring about students’ success. Lawless parking lot with no supervision, safety issues swept under the rug, sports > academics. Positives include a good teaching staff and nice front office. Also one of two IB programs in county (although principal puts little value in it even though it keeps the school afloat).Parent Review2y ago15 Reviews - Fairhope Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal, Terry Beasley, bullied teachers and families. Classes were stacked, and the administration and certain teachers favored affluent/influential families; it was a popularity contest. There were constant fundraisers. The academics in each class varied significantly, from subject matter to grades to daily activities. No cohesiveness. No consistency managing discipline at all. Some classes were extremely well behaved while others ran competely amuck with no consequences. Props to those teachers leading their classes by modeling respect and self control. Shame on those who look the other way so they don't have to deal with it and who at times participate in the bad behavior themselves.Parent Review8y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 211 Pier Ave #A02.

"I absolutely adore dogs, and used to have one, but he passed away when he became elderly. What would dog owners like about the neighborhood? The best benefit would be meeting many other dogs and dog owners on walks with their dog. If the dog happened to wander out of the yard by accident, they can count on the neighborhood to call the proper services to get the little fellow back. (It happened to me, so I know.)"

"Mardi Gras, art shows, great food, great people. Hospitals, restaurants, and hometown atmosphere are awesome. Walking on the pier and fishing for Jubilee’s are an unforgettable adventure in Fairhope Alabama. If you’re lucky, you will watch them film a movie around town."

"Fairhope is a truly beautiful place to live. It’s so green and blue and PRETTY! I love that there’s nice variety of homes and people to get to know. My best friend lives right next door — my husband and I are so lucky to have met her husband and her! There’s always something fun and interesting going on here which either the town or the neighbors have organized, too. Lots of celebrating, of every holiday, all year long. Great flowers on all the corners downtown, too. Thank you, Fairhope!"
