7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOC is a great middle school. Both of my kids went through, son (2027) and daughter (2029). We are a Cardiff family and some local kids went to Earl Warren only to bail out and go to Oak Crest. The admin and staff are super. This is a great middle school and serves our local Encinitas community well. Thank you for the great times.Parent Review9mo ago18 Reviews - La Costa Canyon High School

My son is in the dual language immersion program and it is amazing to see his progression with learning Spanish. The parents are very involved and the principal has been great (especially during Covid). This is a great neighborhood school!Parent Review2y ago17 Reviews - Check out schools near 824 Conestoga Ct.

"The neighborhood is a mix of retired people and new families. It’s not as communal as other cities I’ve lived in with many people driving in and out of the community and then staying inside or in their backyard. The gates parks prohibit kids meeting there unless they belong to an association. It’s odd to see a gated park that children cannot play on , meet new kids that live across the street, etc. I’m used to larger cities where there are more public places to gather, meet your neighbors, and create a stronger community."

"Great area and great schools. Some great parks and close to the beach. Great for being outside but the hills and lack of sidewalks in areas makes it less walkable than other areas. Package theft does happen and people don’t clean up after their pets well. The rent is also really high around here. "
