That should tell you VOLUMES about his district. This district's liability comes before ANY students' concern. PERIOD.Other Review10y ago2 Reviews - DeWitt Junior High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a great school. I currently go to it, and it provides great help. The school accommodates to higher level students(like myself). I am in 8th grade, and they made it possible for me to walk to the high school and take my calculus math class. Great school!Student Review3y ago2 Reviews - Schavey Road Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen a child has "special needs" that means that they have needs that are special, and those needs must be accommodated for, at all times. It is not the child's job to accommodate to the neurotypical situation that they are in. It is, however, the child's caregiver's job to accommodate to the child, and make sure their needs are met, so they can be, and feel, sucessful. As a caregiver, it is your responsibility to provide the means needed for said sucess, and be willing to provide for the child who has said "special needs".If they are "uncontrollable in a neurotypical setting" that means the caregivers in that environment are failing as a caregiver, the child is NOT failing to assimilate to an impossibility, the caregiver(s) are responsible for the child's oppertunity to succeed and needs being met; To understand the child's needs and help them find balance between their world and ours -- If the child cannot do that (especially in only one enviroment), only the caregiver(s) are to blame.I have been requesting a meeting with the principal for several weeks. She can send me emails and voicemails complaint about having my child, but not speak to me directly, about what is going on in this school? -- I worry for the kids here.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 111 W Webb Rd.

"Dogs and their owners are friendly and respectful of others. They may cross the road to the other sidewalk or have their dog sit as someone passes by."

"Tons of people walk all over Dewitt. Many of them bring their dogs. The neighborhood is a quiet cul de sac. There are trails and a nature preserve too. Very dog friendly area. "

"This is very heavily populated with subdivisions and land is extremely hard to come by. So land homes typically come with a higher cost "

"Safe area, good schools, friendly people, and very nice place to live overall. The commute to Lansing is short but it is far enough away from danger that you feel safe all the time. I have never been worried about my safety. The roads are well maintained as well."

"Quiet and quick. Roads aren’t usually closed or congested and they are fairly well maintained and speed limits are very well set. I have no problems getting to my destinations on a regular basis."

"A lot of people in our subdivision own dogs and are good owners. Fenced yard and invisible fences are the norm and most people walk their dogs regularly. "

"Great neighborhoods, quiet and friendly with plenty of space to walk, with or without your pets, ride bikes, go to the park or beach on Lake Geneva, or stroll down town to a local shop or restaurant. Residents have the option of small town living, and are only minutes away from the larger, fast paced cities of the Greater Lansing Area. "

"Clark is a busy road and too dangerous without a fence for a child to be outside. Garage doesn't have a driveway to it. No sidewalk for walking/riding bikes. Great Schools and close to freeways to access shops and restaurants (entertainment). "
