This is a typical small-town school. If your last name is not "special" then you're nothing and will get treated as such. Certain teachers are very inappropriate with their students. If your son doesn't play football, they are looked down upon. There is an abundance of cattiness among teachers. True, a small town school has its benefits, but it does not compare to the opportunities that larger schools may offer. My children changed schools last year and they were behind academically at their new school. I would not recommend this school to anyone who values a good education and wants their child to have many choices when it comes to extra-cirricular activities. Too many narrow-minded people in the town of D'Hanis!

"I lived in this area, right down the street, till all the meth labs moved in from San Antonio. The house next-door to mine was a meth lab. Google the town; half the police department has drug convictions."
