Parent Review3y ago9 Reviews - Venice Senior High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter was attacked physically on campus. They truly don't care. All they do is push paperwork. They did nothing to help my daughter. They have combined bathrooms where students are constantly having sex in. Kids are doing drugs all over campus and even in classrooms. These teachers are there to just collect a paycheck. They don't care about students. They care about funding and remodeling the school. Sexual assault has also occurred on campus and students have overdosed. Please don't send your kids here.Parent Review5mo ago18 Reviews - Marina Del Rey Middle School

"I love how accessible everything is from parks, to restaurants, to community events. It feels like an oasis in the middle of Los Angeles. Neighbors love closing down the block to throw block parties, and this area is the place to be for trick-or-treaters. Although there is a lot of new development and constant construction, I appreciate how different all the homes look. It gives the neighborhood character and a sense that we aren’t locked into making our home look and feel the same as everyone else’s. "

"Hidden Gem in the bustle hustle city. Close the bike path, beach, LAX and Culver City has that small town feel surrounded by the big city lights. And the police hold the line. "

"Such a hidden gem in West LA! You leave a commercial area (the mall and business park) and suddenly you're in a private neighborhood at the top of a hill that's super walkable, green, and community-oriented. It's a very dog-friendly and family-friendly neighborhood, too: we have "Santa" visit each complex every December. Plus, the park has been a savior during the pandemic, everyone goes there to work out at the basketball courts, tennis courts, playground, and running/walking paths - I've ever seen some outdoor workout classes and personal trainers take up there. It's perfect for someone who wants or needs to live in LA but doesn't want to feel like they're living in LA."

"I don’t commute, but if I need to, this area has easy access to the main highways. As long as you are aware of traffic patterns, you can avoid the chaos of LA traffic. "
