9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is bullied on a daily basis and no one does anything. This school has really gone downhill. Teachers do not discipline students and administration is not helpful at all. Class sizes are high and the school is overcrowded. There "anti-bullying" campaign is a joke. Teachers just tell students to "write incident reports" and do not handle the issues. My child complains of other students talking through class and being distracting. So disappointed. Seems like the teachers don't even want to work there. Only sending my child there because I have no other options. Additionally, there are racial issues that no one want to address. My child is regularly physically and mentally bullied by other children due to her race.Parent Review3mo ago20 Reviews - Nantucket Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile classes are small in size, the school is so large that there’’s definitely a lack of resources when it comes to special education and community support. My husband and I both notice our kids’ current teacher is very aloof and hasn’t offered support to teachers beyond her classroom.Parent Review2y ago21 Reviews - Crofton High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve had two children attend Crofton for all four years of high school and both had wonderful experiences with Crofton High. Their teachers have been engaged, supportive and available. Wide range of extracurricular opportunities. Academically rigorous with many college level courses available taught by subject matter experts. Theatre and music programs are amazing. Athletic facilities are top notch, and the school setting is gorgeous. Could not ask for more.Parent Review3mo ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 1470 Lowell Ct #17.

"I've lived here for 11 years. It's a very comfortable place to live and is close to so many things, so incredibly convenient! Traffic can be congested sometimes, but it's worth it to have all the stores, restaurants, etc nearby."

"I've lived in this community for 17 years now. I raised my daughters here. They went to Nantucket and Crofton Elementary, Crofton Middle, and Arundel HS. Crofton has a lot to do and is central to Annapolis, Ft Meade, Baltimore, and DC. A lot of grocery stores, gyms, and things to do. Good place to live!"

"It’s a densely populated area but still feels like a close and friendly community because of the local farmers market, country club events, and the many friendly people that are out enjoying a walk/run through the neighborhoods. "

"If you’re in the townhouses many people have signs up saying don’t let your dog go on their lawn. If there was more open area it’d be okay but there isn’t."

"I was raised here. It's been overdeveloped in the last 5 years, so it's not the same place as I grew up. There were horse farms and much more trees. The neighborhood's biggest hill, where all the local kids used to line up to sled down in the winter is now paved over and an assistance living home resides in its place. It's more lively than your typical suburban town because we have a lot of amenities for a three-strip-town but also a lot of traffic because it is a straight shot to 97 from 50 and 301 dead-ends at Rt. 3/97 in the north and VA in the south. Sometimes it feels like people don't work during the day because Rt. 3 is so busy and Saturdays are THE worse! It's the sweet spot being 30 min. equidistant to DC & Baltimore and 15 min outside of Annapolis. I enjoyed my childhood because I had one here, but I'm ready to move."
