"We are visitors to the area for vacationing. Traffic is much with one road in and one road out during the in season. Out of season is a blessing."

"This is mostly a rental community on the beach. There are lots of fun things to rent like bikes and water sports toys. "

"Always something going on. Each holiday or school lemon aid stand. Yoga on the lawn. Trunk or treat. Lighthouse climb. Beach clean up or locals night at the beer garden. Potluck church or open house at the whalehead Club"

"It’s a great place for dogs but make sure they are on a leash. The sidewalks are nice and the roads are nice just to make sure you bring something to pick up your dog Pooh. And when crossing the streets make sure you look for cars with your animals because you have to cross the street a couple times to get to the beach"

"This is the most desirable neighborhood you could ask for. It is the historic Village of Corolla. So quaint, so unique and well done. Historic lighthouse, sand roads, cute shops and fabulous neighbors as well as a great beach make this place so special."

"It is one of my favorite areas in the country, beautiful and relaxing with plenty of things to do if you're not content to just hang on the beautiful beach all day--Wonderful!"

"Relatively quiet except for the middle of summer, this area is a little harder to get to, which keeps the crowds and strip malls away for the most part. The beaches are great, it's very safe, there are all types and varieties of houses for rent, there is planty to do and many great restaurants in the area."

"We've been taking the family here for 9 years and finally bought our own place here, that's how much we like it. I don't know about the schools since it's a vacation place. The traffic is tough on the weekends but that's about the only negative thing I can think of. "
