3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageParent, Highly Do Not recommend this school if you care about your child’s mental health. The kids are mean and vicious my daughter 3rd accelerated teacher and no control and much attitude, that a lot of issues went straight to me due to being unable talk to her and the few times I spoke to her it has been fake and all problems not resolved this was established because same issues with kids would resurface and more problem with the same group of kids that was expressed to me that my kid was hanging around the mean girl crew. Last week of school was my last straw and at this point I was disgusted and outraged with her teacher. Student boy said some really mean stuff to my kid like my child will never be anything, she was dumb and he was she wish she was dead- the last part I didn’t tell her but the goal was to see was she even going to resolve the issue and get back with me. Sadly she didn’t I have not heard anything from this teacher since. This was hear say from another student to my daughter. I explained to the teacher what took place and the whole conversation was this is one of my top students this child would never say that - Deflecting - I felt my issue was less important because this was her top student and honestly she showed me that because I still have not heard anything. I trust her to handle an issue of this magnitude made me feel like my child was telling lies but teacher did state that she thought this issue was resolved so she knew there was an issue. Last week of school was when I heard about it an expressed it to the teacher she made it very clear she was going to take care the last week of school no call/ no feedback. Last, week of school was my child’s last day she never returned nor did the teacher call to find out if her student was okay but she was actively marking her absent so she was very aware she was not there. 06/19/2023 was the day I put a stop to it. same group of kids have been calling and once again harassing my child about he say she say. My child will not be attending this school next year and it sad because this was the only school in Rockdale she could attend - so my child will be homeschooled to preserve her mental health from the trauma, stress and anxiety she experienced from this school. A lot of the staff at the school was pleasant and nice that I have came across. This my experience base on one teacher and my reason for taking my child out that environment.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Rockdale County High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI must say this school system cares a lot about the future of these students. They challenge each student to be better and do better. They give the kids many opportunities to pull their grades up and offer multiple resources to correct these issues. The Career Academy has been a blessing to many students, especially my daughters. They both are in the health care programs and they are graduating a year earlier thanks to the dual enrollment program.Parent Review2y ago7 Reviews - Edwards Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school needs to do better, bullying NEEDS TO STOP! How can a grown adult bully a CHILD?? And we have the TRUST to bring OUR kids to school trust on the TEACHERS! This is DISGUSTING a baby’s life was taken to bullying of a GROWN ADULT AT THIS SCHOOL BULLYING THE BABY. DO BETTER. IM HEART BROKEN and NOTHING WAS DONE WHEN SPOKEN UP ABOUT IT. JUSTICE FOR THAT BABY.Other Review5mo ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near McWilliams Rd SW.

"I find the current situation quite challenging due to the considerable distance between locations, coupled with the lack of public transportation options. Additionally, the quality of internet service leaves much to be desired, as phone calls frequently experience interruptions and connectivity issues."
