"Nearby Highways are rural free access, mostly stay plowed, pretty uncontested, nevertheless, two lanes so in spite of all the open road, about half the drivers opt to tailgate and drive in a combative or incautious manner. Better on side roads which are quite green and peaceful. Lots of deer, though, esp in the evenings. N. Lake shore Eagle lake area, Bedroom, and retired community, with a vacationers/summer party vibe. Too many tall houses added past few years are blocking the view almost entirely. Windy in winter, but quite sunny. Mix of vehicles esp during Fourth of July when huge SUVs park all over the road edges or lawns.. Trucks, farmers, and residential traffic blend with impatient drivers going too fast. Dog walkers, bikes, and small children would appreciate speed speed bumps and side walks. Community groups together on speed limit awareness. People are neighborly "

"Not all areas have sidewalks, mostly dogs are leashed and many get regular walks. Walkers are friendly but sometimes people drive too fast. Some dogs permanently fenced seem a bit reactive."
  • Phoebe G.
"There’s no loud barking dogs. Everyone is friendly. If people walk their dogs it’s typically on a leash. "
  • Mkline02
"Beautiful area to walk their dogs as long as they pick up the poop afterwards, LOL. I’ve only had one person that has it but we are on a rule Road so it’s not a horrible thing but it just would be polite. Love the area otherwise"
  • Leiwspropertysolutions
"This is a great place to raise kids. it's safe with very minimal crime. Kids can be outside and you don't have to worry about them. Nice parks, library, restaurants, fast food, most things a re in walking distance. "
  • Sheila Scott
"Close to everything, stores, restaurants, dollar store, Cressy & Everett, laundry mat, Meridian Title Company, attorneys, doctors, Elementary , Middle & High schools. "
  • Lyndiane
