6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attended in 2021 and I quickly needed to pull her out of that school. Teachers were unhappy, students were fighting, lack of support for bullying. the school grounds were dirty and unkept. The school itself looked like a prison. My child had little to no homework except in math class, which she enjoyed, because the teacher was engaging and organized! The PE teachers and lessons were a joke. The administration were too relaxed with discipline issues. For instance, a child was physically assaulted and 2 days later that student was back in the same class, bragging about what they did! LAUSD needs a full reboot! Not impressed and would not recommend sending your child to this school!Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews - Phineas Banning Senior High School

The mind set is… if it’s not my child I can care less and even if it is your child some parents don’t give a $h!t At all as well…We have to do better as Mother’s,Because it’s really Is up to us to give all the love we have to any child in need!!!In conclusionCarry your pain well Lady’s so you don’t send out a bunch of Banshees To lose value and integrity of our families Name!!! -The QueenParent Review3y ago3 Reviews - Broad Avenue Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLooking back don’t bring your kid here this school has brought me a lot of trauma growing up. I will never forget the way some teachers treated me that still work here I’m 20 years old and it still makes me sad that I never spoke up because I was little and I couldn’t. I remember teachers would accuse me of lying they would yell at me and embarrass me. One teacher even said I wasn’t smart enough. This is an honest review. I hope the school system has changed and the teacher I grew up with no longer teach at this school. This school forever changed the way I grew up.Other Review5mo ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near 440-440 E Sepulveda Blvd.

"Most of the events are held at topanga mall. You can see their calendar online. For trick or treating we go to calabasas and also Agoura Hills. "

"South Park is great as it offers proximity to the restaurants, businesses, entertainment in DTLA, but feels less crowded/congested. The sidewalks are a bit wider, especially great if walking a dog, and the Business Improvement District staff are friendly, almost always around, and helpful. They help keep the streets clean, but also for the most part people in the area a generally mindful of picking up after themselves or pets."

"Toluca Lake is a village. Residents can walk to buy their groceries, shop for gifts or or grab coffee with friends. The village makes it easier to meet people. We have great restaurants too. Halloween is a very big deal here. Houses are so beautifully decorated, trick or treaters come from other communities just to enjoy the spectacle. We have an annual Turkey Trot at Thanksgiving, a Christmas Open House and a Christmas Eve truck full of carolers. And there really is a lake in Toluca Lake. It’s just takes a little maneuvering to catch a glimpse of it."

"The side walks are small, and there aren’t many big trees for dogs to mark. There are however many pathways to take with a dog. I am not a dog owner myself but when I walked dogs I would take them to nearby parks."
