Description

The house is located in the sunny Hatton Fields neighborhood of Carmel, which is just up the hill from the Mission. The apartment has a private entrance and there is ample street parking along the hedge at the front of the property. The apartment is newly renovated and fully furnished with hardwood floors throughout and a picture window in the living area. The kitchenette has a new stainless full-size refrigerator (not shown in the older photo), four burner cooktop, and microwave with convection oven. The bedroom has a king size bed and en suite bathroom with large tiled walk-in shower and heated floors.

The apartment is situated on the lower level of a private home but is designed to be architecturally freestanding. The main house upstairs has a deck with a large hot tub and an accessible laundry room.
We have a friendly Miniature Australian Shepherd, who runs freely around the outdoor areas, which are gated. In the yard behind the unit, there is ample room for patio furniture and perhaps a grill. For the person who likes gardening, this would make a nice opportunity.

The neighborhood is peaceful, and our household is friendly, while maintaining privacy.

Rent includes utilities, wi-fi, laundry access, and professional cleaning twice a month.

We would consider a tenant with a well-behaved dog, provided that it gets along with ours.

We are willing to consider six or 12 month lease. The rental amount includes all utilities and wi-fi as well as professional cleaning every two weeks -- to be coordinated with renter's schedule. Renter, if fully vaccinated and boosted, may have access to our laundry room, which has an exterior door, at a mutually convenient time. This . Parking is available on the street in front of the house along the hedge.

    "Carmel Woods is set high enough above sea level that I can see peeks of the ocean at carmel beach. The trees are hundreds of feet TALL, & pruned to be bare, stripped of mud-length branches—prehistoric in appearance. The neighbors are all isolated and hardly social. I have never gotten beyond small talk in the 3 yrs of living here. Pollen is extremely allergenic, even in me, who is not allergic. Quiet street, to a fault. "
