8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve had three kids at Meridian over a 10 year period. When we started, the administrators were phenomenal and it truly felt like a top notch school. Over the years, each change in leadership staff has left us more and more disappointed. Great teachers keep leaving and subpar teachers never leave. As someone stated before, you can either have the most wonderful teacher, or one that causes your child to hate school. More recently, changes have been made to recesses. Instead of finding a middle ground and being willing to have a conversation the Principle shot down parent concerns and assured them nothing changed from previous years which couldn’t be farther from the truth. "I commute to SLC in Utah so being close to DIA via e470 is fantastic. Otherwise there’s not much in the way of public transportation. Someday light rail might come near by. "

"Not so bad. Takes 15 min in total, which includes dropping off my kids to schools as well. It could be a little bit of delay on 120 but not so bad. "

"Safe neighborhood but not a lot of young children. Strong HOA with good governance. Local HS and elementary are good, middle school (Westlake) not so much, though many good STEM and Charter alternatives. "
