8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst school ever. My daughter started school here and they refused to work with her in the areas where she struggled. Teachers would belittle her for not understanding the content and had no response when questioned and then isolate her away from everybody even when given the paperwork stating she has a very bad hyperactivity problem and expect it to get better. Bullying here is VERY BAD both from the students and TEACHERS, we have called many times and nothing was ever done. But when she sticks up for herself she gets in trouble!!! The principal is the worst of all, lie to your face and have law enforcement interrogate an under age minor WITH OUT EVEN NOTIFYING THE PARENTS. Be smart, be safe, we pulled our daughter and now do homeschooling where she is excelling. I do not recommend this school for any parent who value their children.Parent Review2y ago9 Reviews - Kickapoo High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy brother a mixed kid gets bullied at this school and gets segregated from his peers after he defends himself but he is always the one who gets in trouble mind you my brother has tried to tell the teacher and principal and nothing changes this school is not safe and if you are of color I highly don’t recommend you and your family with be looked at as less than and you don’t matter we have tried very hard to give chances but it’s getting to a point that my brother doesn’t even feel safe to go to school anymore he already is singled out for being biracial and then you have a school you are supposed to be looking forward to showing you racism hasn’t changed and it won’t until this school and the peers are stoppedOther Review2mo ago16 Reviews - Check out schools near 4311 W Republic Rd.

". Everyone is so friendly and lots of littles running around. We love it, a big park is also a perk. "

"Very pet friendly neighborhood. Dog walkers in the neighborhood all the time. Most are respectful and clean up after their dog. "

"Everyone one is pretty friendly. There is always kids running around. I think anyone should live here. Super safe and neighbors are really nice. There’s not much to do but Springfield is not that far."

"It’s a quiet neighborhood near a park that we love. Most people around keep to themselves but everyone is fairly friendly."

"Fourth of July is the holiday that draws the most audience. Every year the whole Battlefield community enjoys a group celebration in the park with families hosting bbq’s, face painting, live bands, and a fireworks display for the entire community!"

"I can’t think of anything they’d dislike, other than maybe the population of other dogs and a large population of cats as well."

"Dog owners would like the fact that they can freely let their dogs poop in everyone’s yard and not pick it up. As not being a dog owner I hate that fact. I honestly think 95% of the neighborhood have dogs and maybe 2% pick up the dog poop. I despise my neighborhood and can’t wait to move."

"This is not a neighborhood that I would pick if I knew what I know now. It’s full of nosey renters. The pool is not well maintained. Everyone walks dogs and no one picks up poop. Almost every house in the neighborhood is an income based rental and it truly brings down the value of all the other houses."

"Close to major highways and shopping, great schools, friendly people. Very quiet, suburb of Springfield with new and old neighborhoods, great park, walking trail, best 4th of July celebrations in the area!"

"Close to Springfield, takes about 5-10 minutes to get into town. about 10 minutes to grocery stores. You must have a vehicle as no public transportation."

"I live here with my dad and this is a nice neighborhood with a lot of people and houses but is still quiet and peaceful at night."

"We moved back to the area. We wanted a safe place to raise our children. We definitely wanted a family-friendly neighborhood. We are a few blocks from the beautiful park. The neighborhood schools are rated well. If we ever resell, we anticipate being able to sale the house easily because of the dynamics present."

"We lived in Battlefield for 14 years and had one house broken into and vehicle windows broke 4 times and 1 vehicle stolen out of driveway. Police protection is very poor,"
