8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a recent alum ans no one I know likes this school. It had a huge vaping and discrimitory issue. The dicipline as far as I know did not do anything. If you were not popular and white, good luck. The “jokes” about black and Asian (specifically Chinese) are getting out of hand. I think the staff should focus on that instead of banning phones over some Tiktok sounds. Some of the students are INCREDIBLY rude so I don’t blame the teachers for their clickiness. One time, I had a nose bleed and the nurses told me to blow my nose. The bleed lasted for about an hour. Not trying to be rude but I hope school nurses are more trained. I don’t know about now, but my experience with this school was terrible. I had a few nice teachers but that’s about it.Other Review9mo ago8 Reviews - Kickapoo High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has dyslexia with a 504B instructor plan. It was never followed, and a reached actually ridiculed him in front of the entire class about his learning disability. He was allowed to record lessons in his phone for later review. We heard the teacher with our own ears. He was bullied relentlessly. Although we addressed these issues from staff, to principal, to the superintendent, nothing changed. We ended up homeschooling him for the two years he was supposed to attend there. He has since graduated high school through the International Baccalaureate program with honors at Central. Please, please do not send your child here if they have an type of disability.Parent Review9mo ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 3900 W Weaver Rd.

". Everyone is so friendly and lots of littles running around. We love it, a big park is also a perk. "

"Very pet friendly neighborhood. Dog walkers in the neighborhood all the time. Most are respectful and clean up after their dog. "

"Everyone one is pretty friendly. There is always kids running around. I think anyone should live here. Super safe and neighbors are really nice. There’s not much to do but Springfield is not that far."

"It’s a quiet neighborhood near a park that we love. Most people around keep to themselves but everyone is fairly friendly."

"Fourth of July is the holiday that draws the most audience. Every year the whole Battlefield community enjoys a group celebration in the park with families hosting bbq’s, face painting, live bands, and a fireworks display for the entire community!"

"I can’t think of anything they’d dislike, other than maybe the population of other dogs and a large population of cats as well."

"Dog owners would like the fact that they can freely let their dogs poop in everyone’s yard and not pick it up. As not being a dog owner I hate that fact. I honestly think 95% of the neighborhood have dogs and maybe 2% pick up the dog poop. I despise my neighborhood and can’t wait to move."

"This is not a neighborhood that I would pick if I knew what I know now. It’s full of nosey renters. The pool is not well maintained. Everyone walks dogs and no one picks up poop. Almost every house in the neighborhood is an income based rental and it truly brings down the value of all the other houses."

"Close to major highways and shopping, great schools, friendly people. Very quiet, suburb of Springfield with new and old neighborhoods, great park, walking trail, best 4th of July celebrations in the area!"

"Close to Springfield, takes about 5-10 minutes to get into town. about 10 minutes to grocery stores. You must have a vehicle as no public transportation."

"I live here with my dad and this is a nice neighborhood with a lot of people and houses but is still quiet and peaceful at night."

"We moved back to the area. We wanted a safe place to raise our children. We definitely wanted a family-friendly neighborhood. We are a few blocks from the beautiful park. The neighborhood schools are rated well. If we ever resell, we anticipate being able to sale the house easily because of the dynamics present."

"We lived in Battlefield for 14 years and had one house broken into and vehicle windows broke 4 times and 1 vehicle stolen out of driveway. Police protection is very poor,"
