2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school with caring administration. Mr.Douglas was very good in relating to children that come from inner city, and the challeges they face. The present administration seems to lack experience and struggle with interpersonal relationships and building teacher moral.I am very disapointed in the new administrator that started this year.Teacher Review7mo ago5 Reviews - Harding High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo NOT accept a lottery acceptance from this school. Only the teachers in this school really care for the students, the counselor even picks favorites, usually with the female students. The P.E. teacher only cares for participation and does not care if you physically cannot participate, or even for medical reasons. The teachers there is a lottery in itself, you could get an amazing teacher who really wants the kid to flourish, or one who doesn't care for your student whatsoever.Other Review1y ago6 Reviews - Bridgeport Military Academy

"The building itself is lovely. It’s located on an underdeveloped street so it doesn’t quite have a neighborhood feel. Super close to Metro North, Amtrak, and all local buses. Big bus depot right on Water Street, about 3-4 blocks away. Pet friendly building. Almost everyone has a pet and there is a new doggy yoga place across the street. "

"Affordable housing that has a neighborhood feel. You can get twice the house for half the price you would pay in Fairfield. Parks galore. Tons of kid friendly places to eat. "

"Very slow on 95 and 15 parkway as usual during rush hour. Almost every day traffic is bad and some sort of accident causes traffic. "

"Not a place to raise a family. The heat doesn’t warm much and many of the area smells moldy. You can smell everyone’s cooking and hear people talking. "

"I have resided in this location for a span of 22 years. The individuals residing in close proximity to me are truly remarkable, and the environment is incredibly serene. The locals exhibit a welcoming demeanor towards children and pets, thus making it an ideal abode. Personally, I must admit that I harbor a deep affection for this place."

"I wish we would have events and come together as a community because it has a lot of potential but unfortunately people around here don’t have the mentality at all. But other wise everyone minds there Buissness and stays out of the way so you’ll be fine so you won’t have anything to worry about. But we all need to get together in the East end and decide a lot of things for this community to fix a lot of issues and problem so we can work things out with everyone and everyone is happy and gets along very well and life could be way better in the East end. "
