About this House

After almost five years, The Lost Angel Cabin is available for rent. It's a beautiful, stand-alone house on Sugarloaf in the foothills about 20 minutes above Boulder. It's an 800 square foot, 1 bedroom, 1 bath rustic-but-civilized, two-story cabin that sits on its own 1.5 acres with views of the peaks and plains. Hiking, mountain-biking, and cross-country skiiing are all just outside your door. Kitchen has upgraded appliances and marble countertops. The bedroom has French doors leading to an elevated deck with lovely views. There is a back-up generator for power outages. No washer/dryer or dishwasher. There is an 8'x10' shed to store bikes, skis, tools, etc.
Rent is $1850 per month and includes electricity, water, and recycling. Propane is extra. High-speed reliable StarLink internet is $60 per month. Pets are negotiable.
We're looking for a mountain-savvy person or couple that has a four-wheel drive vehicle. Available September 1st for a long-term rental.

Owner pays for electricity, water, and recycling. Tenant is responsible for propane and garbage removal. Internet is paid monthly by tenant. Pets are negotiable. This is a no-smoking property. Lease duration is month-to-month though requires a minimum two-month advance notification to terminate lease.

    "This is a dog friendly neighborhood. Several neighbors have dogs that they walk which is fun to see. We don’t presently have dogs, but we always had one to two dogs with our three kids as they were growing up. Pets definitely are park of a neighborhood community. "

    "I have lived in North Boulder for 30 years- Wonderland Hills and Dakota Ridge, it has always felt safe here. My children attended Boulder Public Schools, I give the schools an A+! We live a convenient short distance to restaurants, grocery stores, schools, and shopping, ...friends hang out at our house and tell me I’m a great baker of Chocolate Chip Cookies! I love to send them home with cookies or fresh dough to bake cookies with their own families! You should bring your kids to our house on Halloween, what a treat! I walk to Pearl Street by way of Foothills Trail, through beautiful neighborhoods apple orchards, Mt. Sanitas and am fascinated by the rock formations. I bicycle many days a week and many miles, such a perfect location to start from and end up! It’s a family and friends tradition to do the Bolder Boulder on the Monday of Memorial Day weekend, so fun! I have been taking it easy for a while due to some physical injuries, but continue to build up my strength and stamina walking my dog, climbing and hiking - I get a great workout! Here’s a tidbit! Keep your dog on leash and clean u"
