7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor how little funding Cascade gets, its doing really well. The teachers are amazing and most of them genuinely care for students beyond just school. However, Cascade does not have much discipline given out by the administrative level hence why many students continue to be disinterested in learning and thereby decreasing the overall performance of Cascade. This decline causes the school to gain very little funding almost every year and cut many of its crucial academic programs instead of expanding and adding more. Overall, the teachers try very hard to make students feel welcome and to teach students. However, the Everett Public Schools district and Cascade Administrative Team continuously makes poor decisions causing us to become a school that doesn't have a lot to offer compared to other schools in the area. Furthermore, administrators are not very strict on rules and regulations making students feel free to discriminate and even ensue violence against others. This is what lead me to not recommend Cascade as a school to attend if you are given the choice. Again, the teachers are amazing, its just the administrators and district employees that have screwed us over.Student Review1y ago8 Reviews - Gateway Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school sucks so incredibly bad. I told the councilor I was having serious mental issues and he barely talked to me and the made me write it out on a paper for my parents to see. Thanks gateway.Student Review1y ago16 Reviews - Silver Firs Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't think the mental and emotional well being of students is a priority at SFE. Group punishment is often used during recess. Lunch time isn't enough for kids to sit and finish their meal. The district and school administration pushed against parent requests and OSPI recommendations to extend lunch.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews - Check out schools near 4722 138th St SE.

"Rural - you like or you don’t. There are no sidewalks so safety is an issue. Because it’s rural a dog that leaves the yard away from there master could easily come upon a coyote or get in trouble in a cattle owners field. People also put out rat poison (chickens attract them). Your dog must be leashed and on a fenced property. "

"I commute to Boeing, it's easy. Not overly populated on unincorporated side of town. Quaint downtown shopping, eating, brewery, wine, bakery, antique shops. 1st Street is fun. "

"Too many city people moving out here to be in the country and then try to get rid of the farms and animals and rural feel to make it like the city they just left. Leave rural areas alone if you move or stay in the city. "
