9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have attended Spanish Immersion at Rockford for the past 4 years and I am not impressed. My current 2nd grader repeated Kindergarten and we watched many of her classmates leave the program in both experiences with that grade. My 2nd grader continues to struggle and the only suggestions I get from the school is at home learning or a paid tutor which is one of the native speaking school assistants. My children have attended the summer Spanish program for retention and while my youngest seems to be thriving - it is simply not working for the oldest... with seemingly little help from the school teachers, principle and other staff. I am currently trying to find a space with Spanish, smaller class sizes and a place where they can reach and teach even those that struggle in early elementary.Parent Review12y ago - Crestwood Elementary School
