5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrincipal Joey Eidson has recently resigned due to "allegations" that are being investigated by the local police department. While working at Madison, I witnessed Joey Eidson being unprofessional and inappropriate with students and teachers. He seemed to thrive on drama and tried to create drama. I am not surprised to see this development. Hopefully he will not be allowed to work at another school. The school district ignored complaints about him. He worked there for 19 years. Hopefully the environment at Madison will improve under the new leadership.Teacher Review11mo ago3 Reviews - Bartlesville High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at this school 20 years ago was terrific. My teachers were EXCELLENT. Unfortunately, the school has dramatically declined. I am seeing this because I have two children who attend this school now. Most of their teachers are lazy and do not conduct lessons or facilitate class discussions. Hard to imagine, I know. My daughter's Senior AP English Lit teacher literally sits on top of a desk eating and telling the same four students (because she ignores the rest of the class) about her experience in middle school and high school. How about get off your butt and teach? It is not unusual for her to not even greet her class. How about preparing them for the AP Exam? She flat out told us that she does not prepare students for the AP Exam at Open House night. And the Art teacher...has given two lessons over three years. When my child asked her about giving lessons, her response was that by the time students reach her classroom they should already know what is needed. Are you kidding me? These are still children. They want to learn and they need lesson plans and to be taught. Why is this concept so difficult for them to understand? The math department functions the same way. The students are taught one simple, basic concept and then handed a board to do "board work" with problems they don't understand how to do because they have not been taught how to do it. Truly, truly so disappointed with this school. The school as a whole is not welcoming either. They seem to try to keep parents out of everything. Simply walk in the building and see how hateful the office staff is! Had I known just how terrible Bartlesville High School is, I never would have moved back to Bartlesville.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 1501 SE Bison Rd #1B-1Ba-929Sqft.

"Dog friendly if you pick up after your dog and walk on a leash. We have neighborhood wildlife so some areas have it in their yards. We love it but if you don’t move to a different neighborhood. "

"People are always walking their dogs daily. and everyone is considerate to the neighborhood and put their ,m4 legged family member as a priority. And every single neighbor is thoughtful of our time and sleep. and of course it's always for the benefit of the and dog but not one dog gets left out in the yard and certainly not on a r line/leash/ or restraint. "The irony of all the high crime with such a visibly constant police presence. The constant game of “fireworks or gunshots” also helps pass the time. It’s easy to find a dog with all the strays. "
