10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAHS is an amazing school! Overall, the students are more than prepared for college or other post-secondary school plans. The courses are challenging. There are many different electives to choose from, including engineering, art, music, history and science electives. Students can take a ton of APs and college credit classes or can choose to take regular classes. The student body is engaged, spirited and welcoming. There are many activities to get involved with— all kinds of clubs, theater, music, and sports to choose from. The teachers and admins really care about the students and the school. Students get a high level education while also growing as people.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Avon Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAvon is so lucky to have a 5-6 school. TBS does a great job preparing students for middle school. It is a great bridge between elementary and middle. 5th grade is similar to elementary while the 6th grade offers closer to a middle school vibe. The teachers and admins really care about their students. The students follow a rigorous curriculum, but there is still recess and fun during the day. The school also offers some afterschool classes and activities, including a phenomenal musical theater show. The music program is also strong with kids able to explore band, strings and chorus.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 37 Verville Rd.

"They would not like the fact that Avon, CT does not have a dog park. They would love the fact that there’s tons of other friendly dogs everywhere you go. "
