Continental Colony Elementary School is not an ideal environment for teachers. The students can be disrespectful and even abusive, making it difficult for educators to do their jobs effectively. Unfortunately, the administration does not offer much support.The principal lacks compassion and does not foster a supportive atmosphere for staff or students. She seems detached from the school community, to the point where many students don’t even recognize her as the principal—they assume Mr. Gomillion is in charge instead. Favoritism is also a major issue, as certain staff members receive preferential treatment while others are left to struggle.Overall, this school needs major improvements in leadership, student behavior management, and teacher support. Until those changes are made, it’s not a great place for educators looking for a positive and professional work environment.

Great faculty and staff. The students are well behaved, respectful, and enjoy learning. The overall culture of the school provides student with an awesome learning experience.

I already wrote a review, but I’m writing another because I just found out they’re messing with my schedule again. I have never been in — nor have I ever needed — an IRR SS class. I had a lot of personal things going on that affected my grades and attendance, but I still passed every class except one, and that teacher was the problem. My transcript has been A’s and B’s since middle school, so I’ve never needed an extra support class, and everyone knows that.So why is it that students doing worse than me aren’t being punished, but I am? The district and most of the staff knew about my situation, except for one person who acted clueless — and honestly, I think she’s behind this. She’s also the one who told me I’d have to re-enroll for second semester, so if I miss a day of school and something happens, she will be dealt with. But That’s how I know they’re playing with me.I’m telling you now: you do not want your child going to this school.
