As I sit here on the deck looking at the incredible view in all directions. I keep trying to give words to the views. The house was designed to bring the outside view in and the inside view out. Any day of the year yields a beautiful view unto itself. When my wife and I walked through the house, all I kept thinking and saying was WOW! For us, every feature of the house, the property and the river was and is jaw dropping and mind numbingly beautiful. From sitting on the deck watching the river come straight at me, to being able to drop a fishing line right off of the deck, to bird watching Eagles nest in the island trees across the river on the islands, while other birds (Ospreys, Herron, Geese, Duck, etc.) fly by. To say that the view is spectacular is a gross understatement! Not only that, it is continually changing, but never decreasing in its breath taking beauty. This home was built before the movie was made, but it is totally the essence of the grand and open feeling of the movie, “The River Runs Through It”.

Fabulous fly fishing, rafting, hiking, biking, Toakatee Golf Course, McKenzie Golf Course, Leaburg Lake and so much more. "
