The academics are very poor, I would suggest if in district to research cyber charter options (not including scouts virtual academy}.

I never felt I fit in with the student body coming from a suburban district where there was diversity. The student body at Conrad Weiser is very conservative religious mixed with students from the city. Peers looked at me funny because I befriended black students (I'm white) and called them character names. It was a shock to me because this never happened in my old school district. I tried getting involved in clubs but some students genuinely made me uncomfortable with their right-wing views. It was difficult to make friends. Racism is a huge problem in the district and not getting better. I'd suggest Wilson School District instead for more extracurriculars, diversity, LGBTQ acceptance, better admin, and nicer children.

CW West - My daughter attended this school in 1st grade and experienced bullying. After many several meetings with the school staff it had seemed that there was not much involvement on their end to rectify the issues. We had moved her to Oley SD in 2nd grade where she is now in 7th grade, happy, improved grades, and 100% no bullying. Now our son who has attended this school since kindergarten has also experienced the same bullying issues and at one point was being punched in the stomach on the bus. And again I am experiencing the same type off issues, bullying little to no positive advancements from the teachers or counselor. Our son is in second grade and my husband and I are looking to relocate asap. We are both college educated individuals and want the best for our children. This district is NOT a good school district to say the least. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone who wants their children to have a positive school experience and a good education.
