Was walking my child to school the other day, and was crossing a street. All throughout the many years I have been in Lebanon and my children have been attending, never have I had such an awful experience with a staff member. A child whom I will not name was at the main road waiting patiently to cross with our little group. When the time was right we all crossed. The child was lagging a bit behind and the crossing guard started yelling at this poor child in a completely awful tone. The child started crying of course and I quickly came over to comfort them. I asked the crossing guard what are you doing? You have no right to yell at them, there is no danger, they are just taking their time to cross and being cautious as they should. Awful lady, and downright rude. Is being kind to everyone so hard to ask for? That crossing guard identified by other staff, Michelle. We will be contacting administration on this issue.
