it helped me very much i started out very bad but they taught me how to be better and i passed all test with level 5's

Staff are at doors in the morning as students arrive. Staff look unhappy and frustrated. No good morning or smiles to students. Especially the dean that stands at doors at the drop off at the south entrance ( the drop off near cobra pride way. No smiles from her! Annoyance written on her face. Really think about this! She is the first face that some students see in the morning! My child has mentioned several times how teachers have CNN on in their classroom during the entire period. A lot of homework. I agree with homework but the amount given is ridiculous. The student/teacher ratio is off and homework overload appears to be teacher solution to having too many students - give them the work to be completed in class to do at home plus their typical homework.Sports: girls soccer coaches- is this volunteer or are you making a side hustle fee? These girls are losing respect for you. Life is hard and at the end of the day we are tired us parents understand but you signed up for this and if you can't commit and teach and coach these girls then let it go. My daughter and I have attended each game because she is interested in playing and I see no passion in the two coaches. I see exhaustion in the and the team being torn to pieces on the field by their opposing team. On a positive note- the principal does appear to genuinely care! He listens and cares for his students, staff and school. He is genuinely proud! I hope he reads this and considers making a few changes.Also, guidance counselors seem to be in there for the right reasons! Thank you for treating our students with respect and being a listening ear for them. You are appreciated!I will choose that I would recommend this school because there is potential!

this school has cockroach's there's flies at lunch there is mold in the bread and there are kids who bully and there are kids crying because of teachers but and they have this thing where 5th grade can missed days of senior week because about 10 kids are bad so the whole 5th grade will suffer because of the bad kids.

The last two years my child has came to this school he has been bullied about what he wears. The staff doesn’t take anything seriously until he has to stick up for himself and then gets in trouble for doing so. Even after being told he doesn’t have much the school still decides to dress code him for frayed pants that doesn’t show any skin rather than talking to the kids that are bullying him on a daily basis.

this school is terrible, going to this school is another word of going to hell the teachers could care less about your mental health and if you dont have money for supplies AND only care about how the school looks to other people i saw a student leaving the school, this shouldn't be happening and rather caring about actual important stuff they could care about a banana being thrown accidentally if you think this school is good for your kids having a disability think wrong because i would always see a teacher with a kid with disabilities and then they would yell at them until they would start crying... when you think this school is good for your kid I WOULD THINK AGAIN...

They got a new dean this last year my daughter constantly came home complaining about him, as if he sees himself as a kid themselves. He was rude and allowed the older kids to get away with Being bad,being out of dress code, etc but any other kids in grades 7th and below were constantly getting into trouble. There new policies are terrible how can a child not wear “tight” clothing and or bring a stanley cup to school there are kid dying every year to school shootings and they care about what a kid brings to school to keep water in most?

Our experience at Allapattah so far has been great! My child currently attends Allapattah and has been going to this school since kindergarten and is now going into the 3rd grade.
