I am super impressed with WLN. They did an excellent job acclimating my freshman into the school and offering all sorts of ways to get involved. My student had fantastic teachers; Dr. Hamblin is one of the best! We have been very satisfied with the administration and the caliber of students at Northern. This was a school of choice school for us and we definitely choose correctly. ~Knights Mom.

I'm currently an 8th grade student at this school. Sure, the school does a good job at making sure grades are high and your actually learning, but they don't care about your mental health or the fact or that we're people too and we have lives outside of school. I know we're going to have homework but I have a teacher that expects me to go home, read the same book for 2 hours. Then I have to do all my other homework which takes me about an hour, and I have no more time for anything I like to do. Also, the school says "they have no tolerance for bullying and assault" but I go to school just to get asked uncomfortable questions, literally get dragged by the back of my hoodie down the hallway, some days I even get told to kill myself and the teachers do nothing about it. I don't feel safe emotionally and physically at that school. I can't go there without fearing I'm gonna get bullied more, I'm gonna get jumped and that some kids going to bring a gun to school. But yeah obviously a few kids talking during class is more important than protecting kids lives. (hope you can sense my sarcasm). This school does have a good test rate and higher than average, but that doesn't matter when kids are fearing they're going to get beat up. But obviously if you're considered a popular kid you don't have to deal with being afraid of getting jumped. I just want to go to school without being afraid someone's going to hit me again and the school doesn't even make sure I'm okay. I'm just tired of it. Parents, I recommend finding a different school for your child if it's not too late.

I regret to say that our experience at Dublin Elementary School has been immensely frustrating, particularly given my child’s health challenges. If you have a child with any illnesses, I strongly advise against enrolling them in this school.From the outset, the administration has displayed a serious lack of understanding and compassion regarding students with medical issues. I am feeling forced to do a home bound solution because I'm still getting letters this year only after my child exceeded five absences due to illness, despite having multiple doctor’s notes, so it won't matter if you have a note they will hold it against you. We began receiving letters threatening implications for attendance. It was disheartening to see that the school's focus seemed to be on penalties rather than supporting my child’s well-being. The insistence on enforcing their attendance policy, regardless of medical documentation, shows a complete disregard for the health needs of students.Furthermore, instead of working with us to find a reasonable solution, communication from the school was bureaucratic and unhelpful. There was little effort made to understand our situation, which left us feeling isolated and unsupported. Rather than fostering an inclusive environment, it felt as if the school prioritized policies over the health and needs of the students.This is especially concerning for a child who may need more support due to health issues. My child has struggled to keep pace, and any hope of personalized assistance has been dashed by the school’s rigid policies.In summary, if your child has any health concerns, I strongly recommend exploring other educational options. The lack of compassion and understanding at Dublin Elementary has made our experience not just frustrating, but also detrimental to my child’s emotional and academic wellbeing. It’s disheartening to see a school that fails to prioritize the needs of its students, and I hope this review serves as a caution to other parents.
