9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school hands down has been the worse school my children have attended. We moved here from out of state and when I compare the form of teaching and the dedication that is given to these children, I can honestly say its sickening. This school and most of the other schools in this town are surrounded by politics and its about the teachers not the students. If a child is not reaching his or her full potential there is little effort given to get the child to where he or she needs to be. The majority of the teachers are nasty and have poor attitudes towards the children. My children can not wait to leave this school. I would not recommend this town for schools. If you are looking for a school district consider Woodland Park. There schools are great! They treat their kids with respect and actually care about their progress.Parent Review12y ago2 Reviews - Garfield High School

"has easy access to public transportation but it doesnt run frequently and stops pretty early. people dont like to curb their dogs so it can be messy at times. elementary schools are amazing! im moving because id rather my daughter go to a different middle school. high schoolers dont have much motivation or ambition as per the crowd of kids they hang out with. majority of the high schoolers are always smoking marijuana.
