7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn prior years it was definitely better, but 2025 experiments with how school should be have just turned the place into a prison. Some of the teachers are the sweetest people ever, but in no planet should a principal “be excited to see kids run because of the one minute bell”. The tardy sweeps only punish good kids.Student Review7mo ago12 Reviews - Central Junior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school. I was told to avoid. Kids are fighting regularly. My child was nearly beat up a couple times. Also bullied. Some things were done but when you have a low class general population, you get what you get. No manners, misbehavior. My childs coach very inappropriately yelled and scolded them to the point of tears. Inappropriate. Same coach singles others out and picks at them. Another teacher, has been reprimanded for harassing students. She is unapproachable and unpleasant about every day but has all sorts of Live, laugh, love type things. Not someone u would feel safe with your kid. Overall 1/5 stars. Skip it and put them in private school til high school. The main thing is why do these people teach if they hate kids that much? Nothing else to do i guess.Parent Review1mo ago7 Reviews - Bryant Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is ran like a military school/prison all the kids even in the younger grades are treated like they are supposed to act like robots. They have a no talking in hallways policy that is just annoying. To think that a kid that is 5-8 years old full of life can be quite stand straight in line face the front while waiting for the cafeteria is obnoxious and they get in trouble for it if they don’t. I got a message from my kids teacher one day because my kid got in trouble for being loud coming in to the school seconds right after recess. I thought to myself it’s not a big deal they are just still spun up from being outside playing but to them it was not tolerated. On another occasion I went to check out my kid and in the office there was lil boy in a corner that I suppose was in trouble he was reading a book, but because he was reading it out loud he got in trouble by the front office staff! “ Shush you’re supposed to sit there and be quiet!” Is what was said to him I was surprise to see that the boy that looked to be around 6 got in trouble for reading out loud to himself weird thing to get in trouble for especially by staff not teachers. After moving districts my kid loves going to school now and has less anxiety. Can’t wait to get to school every morning! I have an older kid who spent 5th and 6th grade there and concurs that this elementary school is very uptight and ran like a military school. The majority of the teachers have bad attitudes and no patience when it comes to kid’s being just kids. Especially the younger grades kindergarten thru 2nd. Please for your kids mental health do not move in this district and take your young ones here! If I could give no stars I would have. I could go on and on about these petty examples that my kids have gotten in trouble for and of what my older kid has told me as well, but the last example I will give is one instance my kid was not given a treat for not having their head down and was forced to sit there and WATCH the other kids in the class eat theirs! Please for your child’s mental health do not go to this school!Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 9730 Pole Rd.

"Easy access to main highways, simple and convenient drive. I think my neighborhood has the best access because each entrance/exit are to a major road. "

"The neighborhood park is nice and well taken care of. There are all ages of kids. It is typically quiet at night. For the most part traffic is good, but sometimes too fast during peak hours. "

"I’ve lived here for three years. It’s quiet and peaceful. I plan on living here as long as possible. Yes there are a lot of homeless people but no issues so far. I do see a lot of people going for walks with and without pets. I love it here. Excellent landlords. "

"Turnpike is 4 minutes away or 7 minutes during A.M. rush hour due to cars backed up 2 traffic lights. Traffic flows well on frontage roads, except rush hour. Afternoons especially, traffic backs up at turnpike exits. The wait to drive through an intersection can be 3-4 cycles of traffic lights."

"It’s a nice quiet neighborhood. The neighbors that I have met are very friendly and watch out for other’s homes. Some of us trade pet care and, mail and lawn watering chores if the other is out of town. The number of families with families has increased since I moved in. In 2010 most people close to retirement age older. My child was 3 1/2. The children from several families up and down the street play nicely together. I’m not aware of any crime and have lived here 15 years. "
