I haven't even walked in the school when I got a really strong smell of gas and onions and it got worse as I walked into the gym, it smelled like rotten pie crust I cant go a school day without feeling nauseous

It really depends on who you hang out with. There are some really cruel, overall rude people here. The volatility could be worse, but it definitely isn’t warm and fuzzy here either. My experience with most of the students was bad. If you’re somewhat different than others you’re bound to be bullied. I had three not-so-great teachers, but most of the teachers are very passionate and involved. They genuinely care for students and are supportive. My global teacher was the best teacher I have ever had, I’ll miss him very much. He cares about students lives and does not disregard bullying. He stands up and supports his students. My guidance counselor was amazing, truly empathetic and caring to all the students and I admire that greatly. My other global was also amazing, I’ll really miss her. She truly cares for her students as well. In such a large group of people you’re going to find both kind and mean. The bathrooms are probably the worst place in the school. You’re given dirty looks for being in there to actually use the bathroom by the people vaping. Girls will take the free pads and tampons out of the dispenser and put them on toilet seats, stick them to the wall, or down the sink drain. General immaturity and disrespect for people and the school property. Vandalism is on the bathroom stalls, putting people down and gossiping, name-dropping to anyone who happens to use the bathroom. People will also vape in the back of buses. The campus itself is very nice. Clean and well maintained. A rather large school. Overall, RFA is a typical “not terrible but not amazing” highschool. Bullying is prominent, some teachers are mean but the good ones are amazing.

Small school, where the teachers know most of the kids, even if they haven't had them in a class. PTG is very active, putting on several activities for the kids throughout the year. The teachers are great and in our experience, they go out of their way to encourage their student's interests and help them grow. Wish there was more school counselor availability. Seems that the counselors are expected to split their time between schools, making it tough for a kid to get the assistance they need if not highest priority.
