I moved to Oark after spending several years at bigger schools and I have felt at home ever since. Oark is a smaller school which means more opportunities are available. Some people worry that since it's smaller, their child will miss out on a strong education, but that is absolutely not true. We have numerous classes available for all of your child's interests. Smaller numbers of students makes it to where there is more one-on-one learning and your child will have no struggle participating in clubs and sports. We have distance learning classes for any class we don't have so that they can get any course they want or need online. Also, the huge advantage of Oark being a smaller school is the fact that every student gets treated like a person, instead of another name on a list. The teachers are absolutely excellent. They all go above and beyond to help the students succeed in school. They are always willing to stay after school and tutor for free if students need it. The sports programs are awesome!! We offer basketball, Cross-Country, Track & Field, Archery, Shooting Sports (Skeet Shooting), Pep Club, and PeeWee basketball (elementary). Oark is an EXCELLENT school!!!!!
