"I take my adventure cat hiking and on walks. I don’t have a dog. I see a few dogs wandering around. One which is intact. But I also see people walking their dogs at 7am and 3am or even 11pm. "

"I live in beacon village, we have lots of kids running around without much supervision. Loud music for hours in end. It’s affordable though, but not the classiest group"

"No sidewalks, and severe lack of public transportation. Cheaper taxes though, but the “town” could use more “rules” as far as how houses and yards are kept up. "

"I have lived here for a few years and love it here but due to a layoff I am unable to stay here. I am downsizing. Great for Families, single people, couples and retirees! There's a community pool and a playground will be built in near future. There's also a dog walking area!"

"Lots of great hiking trails, parks and woods a minutes drive away. 10 minutes from Asheville, Black Mountain and Blue Ridge Parkway. Schools: Artspace Charter, Asheville Christian Academy, Warren Wilson College. Close enough to the city for convenience of nearby entertainment and restaurants, yet far enough away to experience nature in the woods or down at the farm. "
