6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am so impressed with Harmon. We moved from Utah and was worried because it seemed like a small town school. However. We've been blown away by the level of dedication and love the teachers have for the students and their success. Education is valued but made fun and accessible so kids want to learn. They tailor the education to where the student is. Kids who are struggling get extra help, without pulling down the kids who are succeeding. Kids who go faster then the class in reading or math, go ahead and the teacher let's them go at a faster pace. Every kids journey is different and this school understands that. For example, phonics is taught through stories and rhymes so it's easier to remember. 5th grade has battle of the books to encourage comprehension. They have dedicated reading levels through the school based on learning level rather than grade. Each student gets dedicated and individual educational support. It is well rounded and kids thrive here! I am so impressed and highly recommend sending your kid here! Truly Harmon is education done right!Parent Review1y ago34 Reviews - Combs High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am an alumni of Combs High School who graduated early. I was in a relationship with a current student where our ages were less than 2 years and we had known each other for years at this point. I was volunteering for a program and their parent barged into the classroom and threatened me multiple times and the instructor because the parent’s son had skipped a non-credit class to hang out with me while the parent was aware he did not want to take that class. The instructor told me they had to save themself resulting in me being banned from campus as well as the parent having no repercussions for threatening a minor because Combs cares more about their parents than their students’ safety.Other Review3mo ago18 Reviews - Check out schools near 948 E Eagle Dr.

"There is no transit in San tan; must have a vechicle to commute to shopping and other amenities. Pretty much easy drive to neighboring cities; such as queen creek, mesa, Apache junction or Gilbert "

"Nice and quiet. Good neighbors. Same issues as other communities in the area have. Need better parks and things to do around here. Really only a handful of sit down restaurants. "

"Homes have cement block walls in most back yards, so very secure. There are sidewalks and parks, along with desert regional park nearby for walking dogs. Haven’t seen many loose dogs or heard incessant barking. Be aware, though, this neighborhood really gets into fireworks on holidays!"

"The grass on walk ways has been replaced with gravel. The remaining grass is poorly maintained so there isn’t a cool area for dogs to walk and do their business."
