If you are a minority in this school at some point you will get bullied. Teachers can be nice if you get the right knes but in general this school has ruined my mental health and ruined my brothers.

If I could rate it a 0 I would. Beware. If you care about your kids, their educational needs and either teach them to advocate for themselves or you do it for them, you will be outcast by the administration. It's very sad some of the levels this school has stooped to with some of us families and our children, forcing us no choice but to take our kids elsewhere.Between the poor teachers they employ there, and the mistreatment of parents who want to help the school and their kids, I recommend looking into other schools nearby that have a better understanding of how an elementary school should be for students and parents.

My high school daughter loves Coal Ridge. While she does have some learning differences, her teachers take great care to accomodate her so she can find success in their classrooms. She's not much of a social kid but has found her niche. I don't have a single complaint about this school except that communication home is relatively non-existent, but at the same time there isn't a whole lot that I've determined we missed out on.
