Their special education department is not current which makes it very difficult to give students with an IEP the accommodations and academic resources that they need to succeed. They let the children from families that are popular, work within school or from money get away with anything, while the others struggle. Safety is not a concern, children have knives on the bus, fist fights regularly, excessive bullying.
