This portion of the Mojave Desert is referred to as the High Desert due to the unique and moderate weather patterns. 2017 census estimates report that the City has a total population of 94,859. North San Bernardino encompasses the cities of Victorville, Apple Valley and Barstow, with most industrial properties located along I-15. A balanced diet of industrial, office and retail form the commercial landscape here, while residential is primarily single-family homes in large lots relative to Southern California standards.

      "This place is perfect if you like to be isolated otherwise there are no sidewalks people are constantly speeding Through residential areas making it very difficult to go for a walk there's no street lights so once it is sunset there's no lay outside other than for your porch light in other ways impossible to stay safe and go for a walk after sunset additionally even if you do get to go for a walk and take that chance the gates are always open and you will be chased by dogs "
