7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePCHS is a good school academically because they have some of the best teachers however the school needs a new principal. Reason : He does not know how to community well with parents, he's very arrogant and also he never showed up to support any sports events unless a certain sport win. That is terrible. I just hope he will be replaced soon so the school will be much better.Parent Review7y ago11 Reviews - Highlands Intermediate School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are very pleased with Highlands. Communication with parents are tops with informing parents of children's progress and suggestions. From our experience the teachers were always avail to the parents n child. The access to website also gave parents a chance to see how the child was doing in class and did he/she need assistance from home in getting them on the right track. The daily comments from teachers were great. A special thank you to "All the staff at Highlands for caring and giving the children the special attention they needed to be productive in their everyday life at Highlands Intermediate. Etc: Principal, VP's, Teachers, Security, Maintenance and all others not mention that give the special "Caring" in their professions. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOvercrowded with over 700 students. Barely enough room to walk around. Health room is unorganized, speech therapist has an accent, and the teachers do not correct the way students talk to each other. When I asked for more challenging schoolwork for my child, nothing changed. When I requested a different teacher, nothing changed. When we spoke to the principal about our issues, nothing changed. The kids vandalize the park next to the school with explicit words and images regularly and ride e-bikes daily, almost hitting the younger kids. One of the school signs in front of the school had the N word on it with the hard R for months before being removed. Not a school I would recommend to anyone I care about.Parent Review4mo ago10 Reviews - Anuenue School

"I don’t know I don’t own a dog, but I would have to say maybe a dog park. There’s plenty open spots in the area that may be possibly a state could create a park specifically for animals. "

"This place is trash. It doesn’t have community events and the neighbors don’t really want to be friends. Everyone does their own thing. I mean that’s not a bad thing. It’s just would be cool to actually be friends with people around us."

"Waikele is a planned community so it’s well designed and well cared for. That also means you cannot paint your house pink or build a wall or plants trees to block your neighbors’ views. Waikele is centrally located with easy access to the freeways. Going to Kapolei, North Shore, or the airport which is 15 minutes away is so easy. Costco and Sam Club are 10 minutes away. One of the best surprises and biggest time savers in living in Waikele vs living further West is you get on the freeway before the “merge” from Ewa Beach and Mililani. This saves 20 minutes in the morning heading into downtown! "
