Sunny, spacious 3 bedroom/1 bath North Berkeley home with great flow, plus AC and central heat. Stellar location, one block from Solano Avenue!

Note: this house has an occupied in-law unit that shares the laundry area. The in-law unit has exclusive access to the backyard.

The house is set back from The Alameda with a large, lush front yard and there's a long driveway with off street parking for 2 cars.

The front door is on the side of the house, up 5 stairs to a small front porch. You enter into a graceful foyer with arched doorways that accesses the kitchen, stairs to the bedrooms, and large living room. The large living room has a decorative fireplace and plantation shutters for privacy over its wide, sunny windows. It's a comfortable space for entertaining or relaxing. An arched doorway connects the living area to a formal dining room with original built in cabinetry with a pass through window to the kitchen, plus a swinging door into the kitchen area.

The kitchen has tons of upper and lower cabinetry and plenty of counter space for meal prepping. There's a double sink, dishwasher, gas stove, and pantry. Behind a locked door are stairs that lead down to a large laundry area (shared with lower tenant) and door to the backyard. The kitchen opens out to the foyer as well, creating a great circular flow for the lower portion of the house.

The 3 bedrooms and full bath are a half-level up from the main floor, up 5 stairs from the foyer. On the left is the master bedroom, as wide as the house with windows facing both the front and back yard. It has a walk in closet and can easily fit a king-sized bed. The other two bedrooms are on the other side of the shared bath. One is long and narrow, with windows looking out over the backyard - perfect for a nursery, home office, or den. The other is good-sized, with large closet and windows overlooking the front yard. The full bathroom has a large walk-in shower with safety hand-rails and removable shower head and new vanity.

Fantastic and central location. Solano/Alameda bus stop has the #7 to Cal Berkeley campus, and the Transbay bus to Downtown SF. Everything you need is on Solano Avenue, but you could easily zip to the Gourmet Ghetto or Downtown Berkeley for anything else you want.
