This school is horrible I am a current senior at rham highschool. This school shows a lack of respect and empathy from the administrators. The school allows their employees to walk all over students, talk bad about them, and do many things outside of the policy and their job descriptions with no consequences. Students on the other hand are disrespected and treated as if they are less than and administrators see no problem with it. The administrators like to target and try to get kids in trouble who they label as ‘troublemakers’. Lots of racial discrimination and disrespect in this school without consequences. If you want your child to have the support they need and be able to be themselves do not send them to rham highschool

My student’s algebra and French teachers failed to teach him much of the curriculum. This abysmal school would rather push political ideologies on its students than teach them.

“Uncomfortable” is the best word that I can use to describe this school. Having had multiple children attend multiple elementary schools over the years, this one has been the worst and it makes me regret moving here. There is very little that kids have to look forward to. It’s like a corporate job. Bullying is not taken seriously and I don’t care who doesn’t like this comment. It’s just not. 10 minute time slots are allotted for parent/teacher conferences once per year unless you do a tap dance later in the year to grab another slot (there is a limited number and they fill up). Teachers did not even show up for ours. I have a child with a 504 plan and had zero interaction initiated from a teacher about any of this for an entire year aside from the mandatory yearly meeting wherein we were told not much else except what a nice kid we have. It kind of gave the air that no one even bothered with the 504 plan except to sit my kid up front. Maybe if my child was a terror, I would have heard from school more? Tiered math help was literally refused for my child and I just got sick of asking. For years. Ended this year with a D! Imagine being surprised by a “D” AT THE END OF THE YEAR despite reviewing what your kid’s bringing home regularly… How can you help your child when you have no clue what is happening in the classroom? There are not any of the standard elementary school things, like classroom newsletters, weekly emails, celebrations. Again, having had multiple children attend multiple elementary schools over the years, I’ve never had one that we weren’t in close contact with my children’s teachers, counselors, and even principal. We knew what was going on, what the kids were learning, if they needed any help. It was fun and friendly. Kids were recognized for their achievements, no matter how small. If any of our children’s teachers saw me at Big Y, they wouldn’t recognize us in Marlborough. This school broke us as parents. And- Maybe I’m just jealous of the parents that have the ability to woo and gain attention for their kids. And maybe I’m a terrible parent for not harassing people to update me about my kids. Regardless, I’m glad it’s over. (But alas, the incessant emails reminding us to vote on the school budget persist and taunt.)
