"This is an absolutely beautiful place to live if you love the outdoors. You can go snowboarding at Mt. Baker (weather permitted) to sailing on Bellingham Bay all in one day. If you love to experience the beauty of all four seasons, and not deal with extreme heat or cold, this is the place to live. Just make sure you have a lot of money otherwise you won’t live comfortably. "

"Great trail system, sculpture park close by. There is a busy road that is loud if you’re up against it but mostly quiet. Very clean. Lots of dogs. Mostly good holiday spirit"

"The lake is beautiful in every season. There is a gas station market nearby but the closest amenities are 15 min. By car. There is no public transportation available as too few of people live in the Samish neighborhood. "

"It's noisy on Railroad Ave but the restaurants/bars/shows nearby are great. We're good distance from the water, meridian/Cordata shopping, WWU, and of course, downtown. "
