First off, this school is totally overcrowded. Now, as others have mentioned, this school (and the whole North Palos district for that matter) bend over backwards for ESL students. I prefer the old (non-PC) term ESL over ELL because with all the extra resources the district provides, the qualifying students and their families do not need to focus on learning English. They get it spoon-fed to them at school, not by their parents. Therefore they do not need to worry about speaking English in their homes, but rather their first, native tongue. What a deal.Therefore, if your child is "average" and can speak English fluently but has other needs such as speech or reading help, do not expect very much from this district.This school also has a significant portion of students on free/reduced lunch status, soon to be breakfast as well. Another great deal. Along with the generous ESL support, the above facts further enhance the common welfare mentality of the qualifying parents and diverts valuable resources away from the general population of students, crippling the school.Thanks to all this, sub-par school. Don't blame the teachers. Blame the generosity of the state, the district and above all, the parents.

I am an upcoming 8th grade student at Conrady Jr high, and this school has completely negatively altered my mental health. I have been bullied online, in school, and outside of school since 4th grade, and this issue has carried on into my Conrady years. I have been discriminated again for the way I look constantly throughout each school year. I would go talk to a specific staff member about these issues, but she completely belittled me every time I would go to her with my issues. So much so to the point where I request never to speak to her again when it comes to my school issues. Bullying not only affects my mental health but it affects my attendance, my grades, and my physical health. Bullying (and the lack of help from staff I received) sent me into a depression that made me feel uncomfortable at school. The staff takes advantage of their power. The hall monitors use their ability to dress code girls as a way to pick on people's bodies. I have been told I couldn't wear a tight shirt because it makes me look "to curvy". Overall, I do NOT recommend sending your child to this school if you care at all about their mental health.

Horrible school specially the front desk they don't care for you kid they care only for calling cops for you child because he/she do something like normal kids do and after that they don't call parents to discuss the problem or follow with them No support for this school matter what Idiots old women are working in front desk

I went here. some of the teachers were amazing, don’t get me wrong but i would say i was unprepared for college. i would give this high school 2 stars because of the good memories. otherwise the actual education was not sufficient enough for my college experience at Purdue.
